baad The venue, the food and the drink, unless we agree that separately — I run the occasion, I do not host the building. Filming or photographing it. I am working in the room, and doing both badly helps nobody. Rewriting it on the night for a group twice the size of the one we agreed.

Questions

What if some people do not want to join in?

That is normal and it is planned for. Nobody gets dragged into anything — there is always a way to be in the room without being on the spot, and getting the quiet ones in on their own terms is most of the skill.

What happens if the numbers change?

Tell me as early as you can and it is usually fine. A few either way changes nothing; double changes the format, and then we are agreeing a different evening rather than the same one stretched.

What do you need from us on the day?

Access to the space before we start, and one person I can ask when something needs deciding. After that the point is that you get to be a guest at your own thing.
